About Us
Snee Farm's staff are experienced and always willing to lend a helping hand to our Members.
Our beautiful golf course offers a colorful historic past blending with the future to provide you with many fun filled days enjoying Snee Farm Country Club. You can play golf and tennis year round! Walk where the Seewee Indians roamed the grassy plains 2,000 years ago.
Remember how in 1698 King William III of England first granted 1100 acres to
develop Christ Church? Did you know, one of our most famous guests was George Washington who had breakfast with
Governor Pinckney in 1791, under one of our huge oak trees? Later our land was used to raise cotton and indigo. Our lovely lakes were created in the early 20th century for hunting and fishing.
By 1966 the plantation was purchased by Snee Farm Country Club and now showcases our 18 hole, par 72 golf course, home of the
prestigious Rice Planters Amateur Golf Tournament. Snee Farm is the perfect backdrop for many magical days. Our membership roster
includes families from all over the country who have chosen to be part of a friendly, private club where even guests want to return again and again.
