DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION

TERESE DYNJAN

Terese grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she was the only female on the boy’s golf team at Central High School. As captain her senior year, she led the team to one of their best seasons ever. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where she was a scholarship athlete on the Women’s Golf Team.

Terese is a Class A member of the PGA of America. She was an instructor at the acclaimed, Kostis McCord Learning Center at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona from 1999-2009. She credits Peter Kostis and Paul Trittler both top 100 instructors, for helping her evolve her own practical and effective method for teaching golf. She approaches golf instruction with a personable style that allows students to get the most out of each lesson.

While at KMLC she implemented golf clinics specifically for women of all skill levels covering all aspects of the game. She was instrumental in significantly expanding the junior program by focusing on making it an enjoyable learning experience. Terese also planned and instructed numerous corporate clinics and three day schools. She continues to enjoy playing in PGA section events and enjoyed competing in the Heather Farr Trophy Matches, a tournament between Arizona’s top female amateurs and pros.

Since arriving in Charleston, she has started coaching the Ashley Hall golf team. She is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Instructor and is looking forward to providing the membership with TPI programs.

Outside of work, Terese is involved with numerous charitable organizations and enjoys therapy dog work with her three dogs.
